4.3.2.1 Thermal impedance (ZθJX measurements) for initial qualification or requalification. The ZθJX
measurements shall be performed in accordance with method 3101 of MIL-STD-750, (read and record value
ZθJX ). Derived conditions, limits, and thermal response curve shall be supplied to the qualifying activity on the
qualification lot prior to qualification approval.
4.3.3 Power burn-in conditions. Power burn-in conditions are as follows: Method 1038, condition A of
MIL-STD-750, TA = +150°C; VRWM = VRWM (see 1.3); IO = 0; t = 48 hours.
4.4 Conformance inspection. Conformance inspection shall be in accordance with MIL-PRF-19500 and as
specified herein.
4.4.1 Group A inspection. Group A inspection shall be conducted in accordance with appendix E, table E-V of
MIL-PRF-19500, and table I herein. The following test conditions shall be used for ZθJX in a group A, subgroup 2
inspection:

The maximum limit for ZθJX in group A, subgroup 2 is ZθJX (maximum) = 4.5°C/W.
4.4.2 Group B inspection. Group B inspection shall be conducted in accordance with the conditions specified for
subgroup testing in appendix E, table E-VIb (JANTX and JANTXV) of MIL-PRF-19500 and herein. Electrical
measurements (end-points) shall be IR1 and VF in accordance with table I, subgroup 2 herein.
4.4.2.1 Group B inspection, appendix E, table E-VIb (JANTX and JANTXV) of MIL-PRF-19500.
